First Outdoor Stop-Action Animation

HERE YE, HERE YE our first project with newspaper can be seen in this ad. It looks rough but, hey, it was our first try, give us a break. Besides the best has yet to come.

Rodney's Tango

Rodney danced by himself while getting pant thrown at him. I kinda feel sorry for the guy but I guess he enjoyed because he's a "sexy mo-fo." His words exactly.

Storyboard Planning

Katherine groups and our group's plan for the Excelsior Building. This here is brainstorming at it's finest.

Courthouse Square Freeze

Before the busy lunch hour at Courthouse Square had begun, Rodney's and Lisa's groups set up a camera on the stairs overlooking the Square. A few documenters headed out to find good angles while the performers started milling around the space. "How about those cows?" boomed from the stairs and the performers froze mid-step with cellphones at hand. The people in line for their asian chicken didn't look up, neither did the groups around the fountain. The odd phrase went unnoticed as well as the dozen statues that had taken over the center of the Square. As the groups began to look up from their meals and the customers meandered around looking for a spot to eat the new installation was noted. The people around the fountain laughed and chatted about what might be going on. The people eating lunch chewed, eyes flickering from us to other people watching, before throwing away their wrappers and walking hurriedly around the outskirts of the square. We all concentrated on breathing noiselessly, ignoring that itch on our foreheads, and double checking that our knees are still not locked. A few ladies walked through us, yelped, and scurried to the side. They giggled as they took in their surroundings and walked around us. I heard them stop behind me and gaze. I resisted turning around and looking back at them as they slowly circled us, looking intently at our positions and expressions. They walked through us laughing and staring one more time. We held position for a few more difficult minutes then "How about those cows?" rang through the Square a second time. I struggled to stay in character, hiding my grin and finishing my fake phone conversation. A couple people clapped, others asked us some questions, and still others shrugged it off and hurried back to work. Thank God for the people who asked questions, even though we didn't answer any.

Foot Prints

In this project are group and Katherine's group are working together to come up with an idea using footprints. This idea came from when Rodney's group danced in the pit and Katherine's group dropped paint onto them. When they were done footprints were left behind. So we thought that it would be a good idea to continue the footprints through out the building. We are still trying to come up with a meaning and how we would want the footprints to flow through the building but it should all come out with great results. One more thing; we also did a test run of how the footprints may look through out the building so you can check those photos out.

The Marianist Hall Installation

I think that this is the coolest project that we have done so far. Although having to make a lot of paper airplanes was hell, the out come was great. One of the workers loved it and asked if we could keep the installation up in the building. This was just a small sample for what is shore to be a great exhibition.

Shoes at the Merc

Abandoned Shoes

The building is barren but these shoes are still walking around and doing what they usually do if this area wasn't so deserted.
