Our first (and last) chalkboard collaboration couldn't have been a better get-to-know-your-group project. It's a little messy and chaotic, but it opened us all up to the process of stop animation. An hour of work equals about twenty seconds of video and we all quickly understood that the art we were now involved with took a whole lot of time. During the process it's difficult to see where other people are going with their idea little movement by little movement which makes the collaboration a stretch for everyone involved to give each other space to realize their ideas. I loved seeing what other people had been drawing and seeing how all the drawings interacted with each other in the final cut.
